Dennis White is a great name to know in real estate; with his over six foot tall stature and an open and gregarious personality to match, he radiates honesty and instantly earns the like, trust, and respect of everyone he meets.  His knowledge and expertise are also readily apparent, whether working with a developer, another agent or a new home buyer.

His family originated from Buffalo, New York and then moved to New Port News, Virginia.  He completed a four year welding apprenticeship and began selling real estate part time and his success moved him on to become a Century 21 franchise owner in Tidewater, Virginia. Currently, he is licensed in North Carolina, Virginia and Alabama.

Dennis’s aptitude for new construction and development led his real estate career in that direction in which he excels and led him in 2001 to receive the MIRM professional designation (Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing) of which there are only 1,000 members in the United States. 2001 won brought additional accolades when he was voted the Sales Manager of the Year for the tidewater Virginia Home Builders Association.

His expertise was gained from 15 years in new home sales management and sales training while working for one of the largest companies in the Mid-Atlantic with an average of over 800 new home sales annually.  Before his relocating decision to move to Asheville, he was the principal broker of Residential New Home Consultants, LLC, in Birmingham Alabama, where he provided training and hands on sales management to builders and new home marketing/sales companies. As a certified trainer for the National Association of Homebuilders, he has taught the Certified New Home Site Professional class to agents seeking this designation.

As Account Manager of the Beverly-Hanks & Associates New Home Division, Dennis provides leadership and oversight that ensures professional execution in all aspects of the firms New Homes division and plays a critical role in the formulation of strategic business goals for the department.  Additionally, he maintains and broadens existing relationships with current Beverly-Hanks builder and developer clients and seeks out additional builder/developer opportunities.

In his position, Dennis also assists with the creation, planning and oversight of the builder/developer marketing plans an also sets, trains and manages the company’s’ onsite personnel.
